Waitress in profile

This is a waitress at Dizzy's, a very good diner in Park Slope, Brooklyn, NY. She reveals all at once patience, helpfulness and long-suffering.

  1. It is interesting seeing this photo weeks later and realizing it was taken on the same day as the girl with the red hat in the café. Both in profile, but so different in tone and mood.

  2. Lovely composition- perfectly cropped. Her expression also reveals a sense of gratitude and relief. Unlike everyone she probably served that day, you asked for her profile instead of requesting condiments or a check.

  3. Lovely comment from John. I see Giotto's poignant bystanders here.
