A rare gift

Karen McCormack discovered that animals liked to talk to her when one morning she left the house and a hawk was sitting in the drive. Karen approached the hawk and saw that she had a carcass in her talons. The hawk was dragging it slowly away from Karen but she reached forward and tugged it from her. The hawk released the carcass as though she were giving her food to Karen. "I have just shown you something about the way we live," the hawk whispered, and flew away.

Karen began her intuitive life when she did Tarot readings, but soon gave it up because her clients became a nuisance by ringing her the day after their reading and complained that nothing had changed.

  1. Great moment captured. Hope the bird signed a release form to have its picture taken!

  2. Doing animal communications is very rewarding for me. They don't expect anything in return, but just to be heard. Thank you for this opportunity to pose for you.

  3. I have had the honor to work with Karen & have seen her amazing relationship with animals that most no one else would deal with. Yet with Karen, they were calm & workable. She is nothing short of amazing with such a calmness & understanding to her, the animals defintetly feel her energy as she does their's.

  4. Karen is the most amazing human being I have ever met. Her gift of being able to communicate with animals is the real thing. I feel blessed to have met her in my life; she was able to talk to my beloved BB who passed away due to kidney failure. I would highly recommend her to anybody who has an animal-it is amazing to hear some of the things that they want to tell us.

  5. Extraordinary portrait of an extraordinarily gifted woman. A few years ago I read Christopher Hitchens 'God is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything' and one of his primary arguments for discounting Catholicism was citing St. Francis of Assisi. As Hitchens put it, in all his grandiloquence- "He talked to Birds. HE TALKED TO BIRDS!". Knowing Hitchens' mindset, he made sense; though what's going on here is equally valid. These creatures are really not that removed from humans and there's still plenty to learn from one another. And that looks like a dove perched on her hand, no? Good. Never trust a hawk, literally or figuratively.
